Height
The German shepherds are apart of the working class group of dogs. Ideally, the male should stand at about 24 to 26 inches tall measuring up to the highest part of the shoulders, wheras the female should measure between 22 to 24 inches.
Weight
The weight of your full grown German shepherd should range anywhere between 75 and 95 pounds.
Coat
The ideal shepherd has a double coat with medium length. The outer coat should be as dense as possible; hair should be straight, harsh, and lying close to th body. the coat should not be too soft, silky, curly or woolly.
Colour
The German shepherd varies in colours. They can have black areas on their bodies, heads and tails. The rest of their coat is a shade of yellow, tan, brown or gray. some are all black and some are all white.
Personality
The breed has a distinct personality marked by direct and fearless, but not hostile, expression, self-confidence and a certain aloofness that does not lend itself to immediate and indiscriminate friendships. It is poised but when the occassion demands eager and alert; both fit andwilling to serve in its capacity, as companion, blind leader, guard dog, herding dog or guardian whichever the situation may demand.
Grooming Requirements
The German shepherd is generally a heavy shedder and therefore needs to be brushed  regularly - daily whenever possible. Because they can be prone to eczema, regular bathing should be avoided instead you should opt for very occassional baths and the use of a suitable dry shampoo as a more regular cleaning/freshning tool.

Healthy Puppies
Here are some basic hints on how to maintain a healthy puppy:
- Ensure that your puppy gets a clean container of fresh drinking water each morning.

The Shih-Tzu’s country of origin is Tibet.
Height
Shih-Tzu’s are part of the toy group of dogs. Ideally, a Shih-Tzu’s height should be 9 to 10 1/2 inches. A good quality Shih-Tzu should have legs well proportioned to its body, not too long or not too short.
Weight
The weight of your full grown Shih-Tzu should range anywhere from 9 to 16 pounds.
Coat
Long haired. A well bred Shih-Tzu will have an extremely thick coat. Most people find it more convenient to keep their Shih-Tzu’s cut short.
Colours
They come in a large variety of different colors and are usually multi-colored.
Personality
The Shih Tzu is full personality, this makes the breed preferred for companionship. They are energetic & playful. They are very expressive and lets you know when they are pleased or not pleased with something. Its almost as if they are talking to you. Shih Tzu’s are very intelligent, a well taught Shih-Tzu is very well behaved and eager to please.
Grooming Requirements
It is necessary to brush a Shih Tzu’s coat daily to prevent matting, especially if it the coat is kept long. Most people find it more convenient to keep their Shih-Tzu’s cut short. Keen attention needs to be taken to the area of the nose and eyes. If you do not keep this area clean from tearing, nose droppings and drool it can become a smelly, crusty mess
